CCS-Inc. Introduces New Envirosealed® Computer Workstation for Food Processors
Christiansburg, VA, April 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- CCS-Inc. will be unveiling its new Envirosealed TECStation™ 1806 workstation at this year’s Food Safety Summit in Washington, D.C. This rugged workstation is compact and allows for easy maintenance on the plant floor. The NEMA 4X Stainless Steel Enclosure is built to provide high-tech computing solutions in harsh environments.
The unit has a 19” APR touchscreen display that is built to withstand predisposed environmental damage such as dust, dirt, chemicals, and scratching. APR touchscreen technology provides a clear, high-quality, non-reflective display. The station’s dimensions allow for maximum screen exposure while minimizing the enclosure’s overall footprint.
Customers can use this enclosure to maintain their current computing standard as the unit is capable of supporting a variety of thin-client models from HP, Wyse and other manufacturers.
One highly notable feature is the ability for users to switch out touchscreens, thin clients, and power supplies in less than five minutes without the use of a tool. The unit is built such that a user can quickly and easily access critical components within the enclosure to maintain and replace defective parts.
Cables enter through the bottom of the enclosure; a two outlet junction box is mounted internally to provide power to the display and thin client. TECStation 1806 can be mounted on a table-top, pedestal, or wall.
