Amin Joseph Captures Somali Pirate in the Expendables
Actor Amin Joseph joins the cast of Sylvester Stallone's mercenary action film The Expendables.
Los Angeles, CA, April 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Amin Joseph (The Mist, C.S.I. Miami, Zane’s Chronicles) joins the cast of Sylvester Stallone's mercenary action film “The Expendables” directed by Sylvester Stallone and starring Jason Statham. Joseph will play a Somali Pirate leader that challenges a team of mercenaries who head to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator. The film stars Sylvester Stallone (Incredible Love, Rambo, Rocky Balboa), Jason Statham (Crank, The Brazilian Job, Death Race), Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler, Iron Man 2), Arnold Schwarzenegger, Brittany Murphy (Sin City 2), Jet Li (The Forbidden Kingdom), Eric Roberts, Steve Austin, and Charisma Carpenter. Terry Crews, and UFC star Randy Couture also co-star in the action-packed production due in theatres April 2010. Principle photography began April 2009 in Brazil, while Amin joins the cast early June 2009 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Amin didn’t take long after relocating from Harlem, NY to Los Angeles, CA in 2006, to land his first role. Since then, Joseph has gone on to appear in several TV shows including, “NCIS,” “The Shield,” “Shark,” “CSI: Miami” and “Women’s Murder Club” to name a few. “I learned early on from my mentors to appreciate and treasure every new opportunity and relationship,” explains Joseph. Amin, a series-regular as ‘Tarriq’ on Cinemax’s new tantalizing show, “Zane’s Sex Chronicles.” Z.S.C., entering it’s second season, is written by New York Times best- selling author Zane and produced by Oscar® nominee, two-time Emmy® winner Suzanne de Passe. Amin’s film credits include Stephen King’s “The Mist”, “Nightmare”, and “Rage and Discipline.”
Amin, a Howard University graduate and a product of the world-famous Apollo Theatre, is making his mark in the entertainment industry.
