Wagfest - Working Hard to Commercialize the Entertainment Business for the Independent Artist
Brian O'Neal Signs Contract to Perform at WagFest Atlanta's Soulful Liter-tainment Extravaganza.
Atlanta, GA, April 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- WagFest Litertainment Group, the leading voice for independent and self published authors, announced today the addition of Brian O' Neal to the WagFest Atlanta talent line up. Mr. O'Neal will bring the versatility of a uniquely upbeat, smooth style that compliments today’s "New Jazz” to WagFest's Litertainment Night, the meet and greet that kicks off the semi-annual event. “Brian O’Neal is definitely a fresh new wave in urban/jazz music,” says the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Known for bringing an exciting and uninhibited sound to the world of jazz, making it a creative challenge for many to categorize his music, O’Neal attracts an eager following and commands the respect of his listeners domestically and abroad. WagFest is pleased to announce that Brian O'Neal will now join the ranks of prior WagFest greats such as BET's One Mic Stand Comedian Ralph Porter, D. Lamont Hall, and Neo-Soul singer, Jameeze. "Brian 'Bean' O'Neal is truly a remarkable talented jazz musician," says Billboard Magazine.
Founded in 2007 by Kerry E. Wagner, WagFest is more than a literary conference and bazaar; it is a movement that promotes self sufficiency and resourcefulness in business. Although not exclusive, WagFest caters to independent and self published authors, poets, musicians, comedians, and independent merchants. With vendors and fans traveling from all over the United States for the bazaar extravaganza, the first WagFest event was held October 2007 in Woodbridge, New Jersey. From there, WagFest has traveled the United States making stops in Seattle, WA March 2008; Cincinnati, OH October 2008; and back to Seattle, WA March 2009. The next event will be held October 2-4, 2009 at the Hilton Atlanta, 255 Courtland Street NE, Atlanta, Georgia, United States, 30303.
"The saying at WagFest is that, unlike most events, people may come as strangers, but they leave family and that has proven true time and time again," says Felecia Trotter, WagFest Chief Logistics Officer, "so it's safe to say that Brian O'Neal is the newest addition to the WagFest Family."
