Photographer Adrien Bisson Featured in 'Western Avenue Studios: Stories from the Shelter,' a Collaborative Art Show to Benefit the Lowell Humane Society

Lowell, MA, April 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The artists at Western Avenue Studios, in Lowell, Massachusetts, have partnered with the Lowell Humane Society to create an exhibit inspired by the animals, volunteers, and staff at the Shelter. All pieces in the show reflect artists interpretation of shelter life.

Photographer Adrien Bisson is showing several pieces profiling the Humane Society from the perspective of the animal caretakers. Bisson photographed the dedicated shelter staff, caring for their charges, over the course of several visits to the shelter. The love and care for these animals by the shelter staff comes through in each image.

The public is invited to view this collaborative art show to benefit the Lowell Humane Society on Friday evening, May 15th from 6 to 9pm, at the A-Mill Loading Dock, at Western Avenue Studios in Lowell, Massachusetts.
Tickets will be available at the Lowell Humane Society Shelter starting April 16th. Tickets are $20 and 100% of ticket sales goes directly to the shelter.

Photographer Adrien Bisson of Westford, Massachusetts, opened his studio at Western Avenue Studios in 2007. Bisson whose interest in photography began in high school, has shown his work in various shows in the Lowell area. Specializing in photographing people, his interests range from environmental portraiture to nature and still life. He is currently represented by The Loading Dock Gallery at Western Avenue Studios, a cooperative gallery representing more than 50 members of the Western Avenue Studios Artist Association.
