TRS Services, LLC Announces New VP and General Manager, Peter A. Sobieski
TRS Services, LLC announced today that Peter A. Sobieski, has accepted the position of Vice President and General Manager for its Houston based operation.
Houston, TX, April 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- TRS Services, LLC announced today that Peter A. Sobieski, has accepted the position of Vice President and General Manager for its Houston based operation. Mr. Sobieski will work directly with Roy (Twig) Gullberg III VP/Operations Manager, and Shawn Smith VP/Sales & Marketing Manager.

Mr. Sobieski has more than 20 years of industry experience and brings a breadth of experience to TRS. Most recently, Mr. Sobieski served as Vice President over Calpine’s Turbine Maintenance Group, overseeing the outage management and repair of Calpine’s nationwide fleet of “F” class turbines. In that role, he set strategic objectives, initiated technical engine improvement programs, and communicated company initiatives to the entire organization. The TMG organization has worked closely with the OEM and NON OEM repair facilities to significantly improve the life cycle operating costs of Calpine’s “F” class turbine assets. Mr. Sobieski also served on both the GE 7FA and W501G user groups steering committees.
Mr. Sobieski holds a BSME from Michigan Technological University. He resides in Houston, Texas with his wife and two children.
