Curtain Call Extends Funeral Planning Services to South Africa
Cape Town, South Africa, April 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The bespoke funeral and memorial planning service, Curtain Call International, will be actively recruiting members in Cape Town as of May.
Currently New Zealand headquartered, Proprietor, Clare Keenan, as a South African, has championed the Curtain Call move with her shareholders.
‘We do currently have members in Cape Town, and it has always been our intention to have a strong presence here,’ says Keenan. ‘Globalisation has resulted in family members being scattered across the globe, and this drives the need for our services.’
To date, membership of Curtain Call, which offers everything from philanthropic legacies, having a diamond made from a lock of hair, to having one’s ashes scattered by fireworks, has been by word of mouth referral among an elite clientele.
‘To deliver our level of excellence and discretion, we have to limit our numbers,’ says Keenan, ‘but we are philosophically opposed to a “who you know” membership base. Our exclusivity is due to the outstanding individuals who chose to join us – those with a lust for life and love of those they will leave behind.’
Keenan’s unexpected brush with death in 1999 at the age of 26, when she was stabbed ten times in her home in St James, Cape Town, together with attending too many funerals that did not in any way celebrate the life of the deceased, led her to start this service.
