Doll Domination to Sweep Hawaii as Pussycat Dolls Perform at Neal Blaisdell Arena
Honolulu, HI, April 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- For the first time ever, the smash-hit pop group Pussycat Dolls is coming to Hawaii. Presented by Hawaii Pacific Entertainment, The Doll Domination Tour will take the stage at the Neal Blaisdell Arena on Saturday, June 13th at 8:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 25.
The red-hot singing-and-dancing sensation is made up of five multi-talented ladies, Hawaii-born lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta, Ashley Roberts, and Kimberly Wyatt. Together they have achieved worldwide success with their 2005 album “PCD” debuting at number 5 on the U.S. Billboard 200 Chart. Released by A&M Records, the album produced the hits "Don't Cha," "Buttons," and "Stickwitu," which earned the group a Grammy Award nomination.
Continuing its rise to the top, the group released its second album “Doll Domination” in 2008 which included “When I Grow Up.” The song peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, giving the group their fifth top ten single on the chart, and the song’s music video won the award for "Best Dancing in a Video" at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.
