"Live Auction Experience" Site Launches in the U.S.
PennyBender Inc. announces the launch of their dynamically new auction sales site PennyBender.com, where savings of 90% or more may be realized on brand new brand name electronics and other popular items.
Pensacola, FL, April 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- PennyBender Inc., has launched an online auction site which provides a different auction experience from most online auctions sites. PennyBender Inc.’s PennyBender.com brings a more realistic “live auction” experience to the Internet.
The site has already sold hundreds of new brand name electronics and other retail items since it went live. PennyBender’s President Michael Gonçalves reveals “A lot of thought went into the planning of the site to at least mimic and ideally improve upon the live auction experience.”
Registration is free. As in most worthwhile live auctions there is a buyer’s premium, though PennyBender institutes it differently basing it on number of bids. As in live auctions, item cost goes up incrementally (though only a penny at a time) with each bid. When there are no more bids, the auction ends and the item goes to the highest bidder.
The following are some actual examples of great low prices some items sold for in the past few days:
Wii $7.49
$100.00 Amazon Gift Card $1.10
Plantronics Bluetooth 520 $0.36
Due to overwhelming demand and requests, PennyBender plans to triple or quadruple the variety and number of items it offers on its website within the next 30 days.
All of the items auctioned are researched to insure they have a high level of popularity, are brand new and come with the full manufacturer’s warranty. PennyBender is designed to appeal to a wide audience of on and offline auction fans as well as avid online shoppers. Unlike most auction and purchase sites PennyBender charges a flat $5.00 shipping fee per item regardless of value or weight.
