High-profile Vancouver-based Monochrome Marketing Solutions (www.SpaMarketing.ca) will release the Australian-produced Essential Salon Owner’s Marketing Toolkit (www.SpaMarketing.ca/toolkit.html) in Canada and the USA on Wednesday August 2, 2006 under a JV with Toolkit developer Worldwide Salon Marketing of Perth, Western Australia.

The Toolkit has been an outstanding success, with well over $1 million in sales since it was launched at the Sydney International Beauty Expo in September 2004.

Complete Suite of Marketing Tools

The kit contains a complete suite of proven flyers, sales letters and ads any beauty salon or day spa can use to easily bring in new clients, as well as a comprehensive in-salon sales training manual for use by day spa owners and staff.

In addition, the company maintains a subscription-based online update service, publishing new marketing material and feedback from successful ad campaigns from salon & spa owners around the world.

In a joint statement released today, Worldwide Salon Marketing founder Greg Milner and Monochrome Marketing Solutions chief John Uhrig said the average salon or day spa was crying out for a simple ‘done-it-for-you’ kit of marketing tools that saved them time.

“Salon owners simply don’t have the skill, the time or the energy to sit down and write compelling ads and flyers that actually get sales,” Mr Milner said. “This way, they get access to material that’s already been proven to work – they don’t have to re-invent the wheel every time they want to run an ad or write a letter to clients.”

North American Market

The deal is Worldwide Salon Marketing’s first serious push into the North American market, although several US and Canadian spas have purchased the Toolkit via the internet. The company has well-established distribution in the UK.
