The Corporate Rockstar to Give Marketing Talk for NKY Chamber
Eisen Marketing Group President to Address Chamber on Business Growth.
Park Hills, KY, April 30, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Rodger Roeser, APR, president and owner of Eisen Marketing Group (EMG), Greater Cincinnati’s largest public relations firm, will speak at the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce “Water Cooler” event on May 7, 2009. The topic, “Everything I Needed to Know About Marketing, I Learned in a Rock Band,” draws business analogies learned from Roeser’s career in an ‘80s hair metal band and how that translates to running a successful and thriving business.
Roeser is a past president of the Cincinnati chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and is the current national chairman of the Public Relations Agency Owners Association. He is the host of the national online radio show “That Marketing Show.”
“I learned so much during the formative time in touring with and promoting not only my band but several others, and some of the lessons learned are gospel in running a successful business or organization,” Roeser said. “This will be a fun, light hearted event that professionals will walk away with powerful information that will give them a competitive advantage in the marketplace. And, it’ll be the best time they’ve had at a chamber event in years.”
Roeser will be sharing his marketing do’s and don’ts in any type of economy along with his “Top 10 Business Communications Lessons” drawn from his experiences in an ‘80s and ‘90s “hair metal” band.
Roeser will be speaking at the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce event on May 7, 2009 at the Gardens of Park Hills off of Dixie Highway. The water cooler talk begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 9:30 a.m. The event costs $15 for members and partners of the chamber who purchase tickets in advance, $20 at the door and $30 for future members of the chamber. Those wishing to attend may register online at www.nkychamber.com.
