RRAR Announces $50,000 Foreclosure Prevention And Response Program Grant
Raleigh, NC, May 02, 2009 --(PR.com)-- John Wood, president of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® (RRAR) (www.rrar.com) has announced that the N.C. Association of REALTORS® (NCAR) has been awarded a $50,000 National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Foreclosure Prevention and Response Program (FPR) grant. North Carolina was the first state to apply and receive the FPR grant. The grant will be used to launch a statewide campaign, “Fight N.C. Foreclosure.” The campaign will launch a new Web site, aimed at directing homeowners to free foreclosure prevention counseling provided by experts at HUD-approved agencies. NCAR will partner with the N.C. Commissioner of Banks, the Center for Responsible Lending and Capitol Broadcasting Company.
