Nexus announces the appointment of Mark Ferzacca as Vice President of Business Development at its corporate office in Itasca, IL.

Prior to earning this promotion, Mark contributed his expertise and leadership as Director of Sales.
Mark was invited to join Nexus in 2003 to enhance its business prospecting processes and provide developmental training to sales professionals. His role expanded as he assumed responsibility for Marketing, Customer Service and Client Implementation entities. The complete Business Development model created has enabled Nexus to diversify its client base, add new capabilities to its service offering, and enhance its online presence to improve its customer acquisition rate.
Before his work with Nexus, Mark had 18 years of logistics experience in sales and customer relationship development, with demonstrated success in supporting customer growth for privately held transportation and logistics companies. His areas of concentration included international shipping, LTL (less-than-truckload), value-added handling services (such as kitting and assembly), and third-party warehousing.
He recently represented Nexus at the IWLA (International Warehouse Logistics Association) July 2006 Marketing and Sales Conference in Chicago, serving on a panel with other leaders from the logistics industry to talk about the “The Quest for Customers” in the 21st century.
