About the Author

Growing Up Cape Cod is autobiographical and its focus is on Stan’s childhood. After graduating from school on the Cape, Stan attended college in Boston, then became involved in furniture sales that led to his predominant career in that industry. He also trained in Biblical teaching framed from its original languages and is an experienced public speaker and teacher. He has four children (two live on the Cape with their families — one family in Maine, and one serving in the military at the Veteran‘s hospital in Shreveport, La.), seven grandchildren and is presently living in a log home in North Carolina that he and his wife built.
