Key Hires at Eka Software Solutions

Bangalore, India, May 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Eka Software Solutions, the leading provider of Commodity Trade and Risk Management software, announced the appointments of Mr. Achuth Rao as Vice President - Product Management, and Mr. Gautam Bhattacharya as Vice President - Professional Services. These key hires mark the latest activity in Eka’s aggressive expansion plans. As Vice President Product Management, Mr. Rao will focus on translating customer needs into functionality, and providing overall strategy and direction to Eka’s products. He comes to Eka with over 16 years of rich experience in product management functions with organizations like Ansys, AMD and Yahoo. Mr. Rao has an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and Ph.D from Texas A&M University.

Mr. Bhattacharya will lead the professional services team at Eka. He will be able to draw on his years of in-depth experience in managing implementations to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction for Eka’s customers. Mr. Bhattacharya has held senior level positions with Intel, SAP, Bristlecone, KPMG and PWC. He has a B.E in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and an MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai.
