Research Triangle Park, NC, May 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Clean Design, Inc. (www.cleandesign.com), a design agency specializing in uncovering the insights and ideas that reveal a company’s brand truth, has announced that Natalie Perkins, president of the agency, has been named to the steering committee for the 2009 North Carolina Education Ball, a charity event that raises money to decrease the high school dropout rate.
Communities In Schools of North Carolina will host the 2009 North Carolina Education Ball on Friday, June 26 from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the RBC Center, located at 1400 Edwards Mill Road in Raleigh. The seventh annual Education Ball will feature seven local personalities from the Triangle area who will be giving their all in a competitive dance event, a progressive dinner, a silent and live auction, music and dancing for all attendees. Perkins began her career at Trone Advertising in Greensboro, N.C., where she worked her way up to the position of president during a 14-year span. She founded her own agency consulting business and later became chief marketing officer at Blattner Brunner, an advertising agency with offices in Pittsburgh, Atlanta and Washington, D.C. Since joining Clean Design in 2007, Perkins has led reorganizational efforts to build upon the agency’s foundation of success. These efforts have created a 20 percent growth in new client business, staff expansions and improved client relationships.
“I am honored to contribute to the 2009 North Carolina Education Ball,” said Perkins. “This event raises money to keep North Carolina’s youth in schools, a key to our state’s future success. Even during this economic downturn, education is a priority that requires funding.”
