Description

Social networking is an effective way for potential customers and suppliers, employers, and employees to come together with the goal to add value to one another's interests, endeavors, and value chains. Speed networking events, in particular, provide a structured environment in which to make more contacts in a shorter length of time. All speed networking events, however, are not alike. Join them on May 11th at 6:00pm for ASQ1010's first ever speed networking event. This event will feature a speed networking process engineered to deliver a balance between ease of and efficiency between networking encounters.

Note: this event will be limited to 40 participants and RSVP is required. Email webmaster@asq1010.org by Friday, May 8 to reserve your numbered spot.
Additional registrants-41, 42, 43, up to 50-are encouraged and will be accepted to replace cancellations and "no shows."

Itinerary

Registered participants will take seats about two rows of tables. Participants seated by groups will be guided to flow through a process of successive rotations, each participant networking with another for a period of four minutes per encounter. Participants are encouraged to develop a 30-second self-introduction summarizing their background, interests, and goals.

Participants must preregister for this event.

Participants should bring:
+ a 30-second self introduction;
+ at least 40 business cards (recommended, not required);
+ tools for note-taking;
+ goal of finding ways that you can connect with each person you meet (even the ones you've known for years).

Refreshments will be provided.
