Sponsored by the T.M.H. Dance Studio in Glen Rock, NJ, "Smile '09" attendees will be treated to performances by students as well as internationally-renown professional artists for the benefit of ILFAR (the Inada-Lange Foundation for AIDS Research). This is the fifth annual "Smile" event, and its second charity show.
The roster for Smile '09 is a diversified group of artists who share a common goal of using their abilities for a charitable cause. After the local students from T.M.H. Dance Studio perform, the stage will be handed to professional artists, who are from places such as Portugal and Japan and range in genre from classical to hip-hop music. In addition to the performances, there will also be some vendors at the event (Mar Creation CD Shop, NYCoo Gallery, Kenyan Craft, Studio Miho's Flower Shop) to offer attendees some shopping opportunities. Smile '09 will showcase something for everyone by featuring a diverse lineup of performers.
