Amber Alert Issued for Houston Child, Mother Slain (Danielle Jimenez - 3)

Springfield, IL, August 01, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The Harris County Sheriff's Office has issued an Amber Alert for (3) Year Old Danielle Jimenez following the murder of her mother.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. on 7/31/2006, the suspect, Leandro Jimenez, is alleged to have stabbed his estranged wife. The assault occured in the 16100 Block of Bear Bayou in Channelview.

The suspect`s estranged wife, Sonia Jimenez, was pronounced deceased at Hermann Hospital.

Following the stabbing, the suspect went to his estranged wife's home and took their 3 year-old daughter (Danielle Jimenez).

The suspect is believed to be driving a 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck, beige or tan in color, bearing Texas License 9NGH92. The pickup truck is reported to be an extended cab, step-side, with chrome wheels.
