Fort Lauderdale, FL, May 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Women of all angling abilities are invited to acquire or fine-tune fishing skills at the award winning “Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing!®” seminars June 26-28 at Pirates Cove Resort & Marina in Stuart, FL. Held in conjunction with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and presented by Mercury Outboards, the program offers a full weekend of educational fishing activities specifically for women.
The seminar will kick off with a complimentary welcome reception, raffle and silent auction for registrants on Friday, June 26, 2009. Spouses & guests may also attend. Our Meet and Greet Happy Hour is from 6:00-8:00pm with cash bar and food service available. Saturday begins at 8:00am with classroom presentations on offshore, bottom, inshore and fly fishing, followed by lunch and hands-on fishing skills until 4:30pm. Our raffle and silent auction concludes at that time. Sunday June 28 features the Fishing Adventure, (optional and additional) followed by a fish fillet demonstration.
Year after year, participants praise the program and share the experience with fellow female anglers. Tonia Hackney, Clearwater, FL said, “Loved it! I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned with my four young children!” Cindy Tutino, Naples, FL added, "When I thought I was pretty good at fishing, I found out I can learn a whole lot more!”
