Media Coverage Invited: Women Celebrate Mother's Day by Building South Bronx Habitat Homes, May 9

South Bronx, NY, May 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Women from all walks of life will put a new spin on the term “home making” this Mother’s Day Weekend as they unite to build affordable homes for South Bronx families in need.

The annual Women Build, sponsored by Habitat for Humanity – New York City, honors mothers everywhere.

Women Build also celebrates the power of women working together to help solve the city’s housing crisis and to revitalize a low-income neighborhood.

Builders will include:
· Women volunteers with no previous construction experience
· Women who will live in Habitat-NYC homes
· Women AmeriCorps volunteers
