Lynn McNulty, Executive Consultant at McConnell International, Receives “Hall of Fame” Award from Information Systems Security Association (ISSA)
Washington, DC, May 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Lynn McNulty, Executive Consultant at McConnell International, is honored by the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) for his exceptional contributions to ISSA and the information security profession.

Lynn McNulty has more than 30 years of IT and computer security experience. His entire federal career has centered on computer security beginning in 1967 when he was employed by the Central Intelligence Agency, running through his time at the Department of State where he initiated the Department’s computer security program, until 1995 when he retired from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). While at NIST Mr. McNulty was appointed Associate Director for Computer Security where his duties included policy liaison for computer security issues between NIST and other federal agencies, the Congress, and the private sector. He also served as the Executive Secretary of the Computer Systems Security and Privacy Advisory Board, and he founded and chaired the Federal Computer Security Program Manager's Forum.
Lynn McNulty and five others were presented with the ISSA’s 2008 International Awards for exceptional contributions to ISSA and the information security profession, in an event held in San Francisco on Wednesday, April 22, 2009.
