Jersey City, NJ, May 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Knowledge Group/The Knowledge Congress Live Webcast Series, the leading producer of regulatory focused webcasts, announced today that it has scheduled a live webcast on Form 990 for Hospital Reporting. This two-hour event is scheduled on Thursday, July 9, 2009, at 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM EDT.
The new IRS Form 990 for tax-exempt organizations asks for more information than the government previously collected, and it raises a number of questions specifically as it applies to s. The form includes a new Schedule H, on which nonprofits report on activities that benefit their communities. The form and its schedules ask for specific information about governance, organizational leaders/directors and their compensation, related organizations, and the institutions’ conflict-of-interest and other governance policies. Finance directors and compliance officers will need to work closely with the organization’s governing board and corporate counsel to understand the organization’s compliance policies and ensure that information is disclosed properly on the form.
A panel of IRS officials, industry leaders and governance experts is being assembled by the Knowledge Congress to discuss compliance policies and Form 990 reporting. Their presentation will be aired in a Live two-hour Webcast.
