Career Fair for Hispanic Professionals Comes to Los Angeles
LatPro’s Nationwide Diversity Job Fair Series will visit the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center on June 4 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Los Angeles, CA, May 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Diversity job board LatPro (www.LatPro.com), in partnership with the National Society for Hispanic Professionals (www.NSHP.org), will host their 5th nationwide diversity career fair of 2009 at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center on Thursday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Designed for multicultural jobseekers, the event will provide a unique opportunity for diversity-conscious employers to meet with professional candidates who have keen language and multicultural skills.
“The Greater Los Angeles area is a prime location for the recruitment of diverse professionals, particularly those with Spanish-language abilities,” said Ricardo Villalba, Events Manager for NSHP. The presence of such a robust and varied offering of companies and employers in the area provides numerous professional opportunities. This, partnered with a population rich with educated Hispanic professionals, makes the Greater Los Angeles area an ideal city in the annual career fair series.
Candidates attending the fair should come professionally dressed and bring at least 30 copies of their resume, as they will be meeting with representatives from prestigious employers including U.S. Department of State, Innovex, American Honda, Walmart, and BP.
