Kendall Hunt Publishing Plans Summer 2009 Talented and Gifted Gifted and Talented PD Conference in Texas

Professional development conference focuses on Project M3 and College of William & Mary Center for Gifted Education curricula.

Dubuque, IA, May 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Kendall Hunt Publishing has announced two days of workshops this summer in Dallas, Texas designed for educators looking for challenging and engaging teaching practices for their high ability learners.

Activities at the workshops will focus on critical thinking and problem solving. Attendees will utilize tools designed to assist in teaching to the specific needs of advanced learners.

This conference will feature the multi-award winning Project M3: Mentoring Mathematical Minds and Center for Gifted Education curricula. Each workshop that is listed will be offered daily at the conference.

Mathematics Level 3 (grades 2-4), Level 4 (grades 3-5), and Level 5 (grades 4-6) workshops will be offered on both August 5 and 6, 2009. A Language Arts workshop (grades 2-5) will be offered on August 5 and a Science and Social Studies workshop (grades 4-6) will be offered on August 6.

The registration deadline has been extended to June 19, 2009. Late registrations will be accepted as space permits.
