C-Level Corporate Executive Joins ActionCOACH to Follow His Passion for Helping Small Businesses
Dipak Ghosh has joined Brad Sugars’ ActionCOACH franchise in Connecticut.
Las Vegas, NV, May 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Dipak Ghosh was looking for an opportunity to leverage his cross-functional management skills to help businesses – when he heard about ActionCOACH – the number one business and executive coaching franchise in the world – founded by Brad Sugars.
Master Licensees Steve Brock and Tom Maier welcome Ghosh as an ActionCOACH in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
Ghosh, who will be covering businesses in the Northern Fairfield County and Central West Connecticut, was impressed with ActionCOACH.
“ActionCOACH is really a learning organization that is always striving to get better by leveraging experiences and innovations taking place around the world within the Action system,” he said.
Prior to becoming an ActionCOACH, he was an executive at General Electric (GE) in their financial services business group.
Ghosh made great strides in his previous corporate career.
As President of a GE Joint Venture in South East Asia, Ghosh led the start-up business to achieve market leadership in the first full year of operation. He also turned around an ailing business and returned the business to profitability.
Ghosh was also the Chief Operating Officer of a commercial lending start-up in the energy sector, where he led the business to achieve $ 1.1 billion in earning assets in the first two years of operation. In addition to this, he led the business integration of ten acquisitions aggregating $20 billion in North America, Europe and Asia.
“My strong cross-functional skills coupled with experiences in building, growing and turning around businesses will be significant value additions for my coaching clients,” he said.
Ghosh had the opportunity to work with one of the largest companies in the world for 25 years. Tired of corporate bureaucracy, he took advantage of a recent restructuring – opting to retire early and pursue something he would enjoy.
"I am excited about learning and leveraging my skills to contribute to the success of small-to-medium sized businesses," he said.
A member of the International Executive Resource Group and the Financial Executive Networking Group, Ghosh is looking forward to making a difference in the small business sector.
ActionCOACH is the world’s number one business coaching and executive coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 26 countries. To learn more, go to actioncoach.com.
