Toronto Magician Dan Trommater to Perform at Hollywood’s World Famous Magic Castle Nightclub

Toronto, Canada, May 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Dan Trommater will be performing close-up magic May 15-24, 2009 at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, California. Members and guests of the world famous club will be treated to this magician’s unique perspective and style of entertainment.

The Toronto magician says, “I’m thrilled to be performing at the Mecca of Magic. The Magic Castle has such a rich history and I’m proud to be asked to perform for two weeks in a row.” Trommater will perform ‘bar magic’ the first week and then will move to the Close-up Gallery for a second week of shows. The Magic Castle is a private nightclub for magicians and fans of magic and is the clubhouse for the Academy of Magical Arts – an organization devoted to the art of magic.

Trommater is an award-winning American magician living in Toronto. He got his start in magic only 11 years ago when he met his future wife, the daughter of an amateur magician. After the ‘magic bug’ bit, he moved to Los Angeles to study magic at the Magic Castle, then returned to the prestigious club in 2005 to perform for the first time. At the end of the week of performances, he and his wife were married right in the historic club.

Since his start in magic in 1997, Trommater has become a full-time professional entertainer and speaker who uses the art of magic to entertain and inspire. In addition to performing magic for entertainment, he also presents a keynote address called Think Like a Magician.
