Trinity Academy Of Raleigh Announces New Athletic Director
Raleigh, NC, May 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Robert Littlejohn, head of school at Trinity Academy of Raleigh (www.trinityacademy.com), a preK-12 college preparatory school community located in North Raleigh, has announced that the academy has hired David Schenk as athletic director. In this position, Schenk will oversee and provide direction for all Trinity Academy athletic teams, athletes and coaches.
Before joining Trinity Academy, Schenk was the director of NetWorks Ballhandling Club, where he helped to start up and run a character education program serving the Wake County Public School System (WCPSS). He also assisted in running the Skill Development programs for NetWorks in the Triangle area. Schenk served as the varsity men’s basketball coach at Trinity Academy from 2004 to 2006. He earned his Bachelor of Science in sports management from N.C. State University and earned his Master of Business Administration from Campbell University. Schenk is a member of Providence Baptist Church and the NetWorks and WCPSS Ballhandling Club. He resides in Morrisville, N.C. with his wife, Jenn, and the couple is expecting their first child.
