American CyberSystems, Inc. Acquires Foundation Systems, Inc.
Atlanta, GA, May 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Atlanta-based American CyberSystems, Inc. (ACS), a multinational information technology services company offering IT consulting and staffing services, acquired Foundation Systems, Inc. (FSI), a full-service IT Solutions firm providing vendor management solutions, and serving as a national staffing supplier to vendor-neutral programs at Fortune 1000 companies.
The acquisition of FSI is the latest realization of ACS’s strategy of adding innovative, customer-centric staffing partners, with strong brands and industry reputations, to their growing organization. The acquisition enables ACS to not only expand geographically, but also to leverage their expertise in the telecommunications, utilities and financial verticals to further increase its footprint in those areas. “With clients like AT&T, Alcatel-Lucent, PG&E, Xcel Energy, Merrill Lynch and Bank of New York, this acquisition is a logical progression for us,” stated Raj Sardana, President and CEO of American CyberSystems. “It allows us to apply the significant expertise we’ve developed in these markets to further expand our client base.”
"Additionally, we strive to continually broaden our resources and bring more value to our clients. The acquisition of FSI represents our desire to expand upon the services we provide, and to strengthen our ability to exceed our clients’ expectations,” stated Sardana.
Both companies are minority owned, and both place a high degree of importance on diversity. ACS is a certified minority-owned business enterprise, and FSI is a woman-owned business enterprise. Both have won awards for their diversity initiatives.
The acquisition of FSI follows the 4th-quarter, 2008 acquisition of Atlanta-based MSI Strategic Solutions, a full-service IT recruiting firm and former division of MSI International. Both acquisitions place ACS’s sales beyond the $100 million mark.
