Eisen Marketing Group’s PR Manager to Speak at OSU
EMG’s Brinkman to Speak in “Classmates to Colleagues” Presentation.
Columbus, OH, May 16, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Allison Brinkman, Public Relations Manager for Eisen Marketing Group (EMG), Greater Cincinnati’s largest public relations firm, will speak at The Ohio State University (OSU) event “Classmates to Colleagues, a focus on life after college” on May 20, 2009. The event will be held on campus in the Recreation & Physical Activity Center (RPAC) from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m.
“Graduating from college can be a very uncertain time, and in this economy it’s even more important for college seniors to network and gain insight from professionals in their given industries,” EMG Public Relations Manager Allison Brinkman said, “I’m honored to be invited to participate in the event and look forward to sharing my experiences with such a talented group of individuals.”
Brinkman is an alumnus of OSU and since graduation she has worked in marketing, public relations and event planning for Paramount’s Kings Island, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and UWeekly Newspaper. In 2008, she was named the Business Courier Who’s Who in Advertising, PR & Design and has worked on campaigns earning local and national recognition for brand development and media relations. Brinkman currently works as Public Relations Manager for EMG, is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and part of the Greater Cincinnati OSU Alumni Association.
After the speaking event, students and speakers will have a chance to network and meet with employers and career experts. The conference will include financial planning, stress management, networking and resume building workshops.
