Solo Traveler Adds News Section to Blog

Toronto, Canada, May 16, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Solo travelers need a source of travel information that is specifically relevant to them. They need a place to find tour and vacation packages that cater to the needs of those who travel alone. They need to be able to find services that don’t charge a “single supplement”. This is why Solo Traveler has added a News section to the blog.

Travel companies are encouraged to add their information for solo travelers using a simple form on the Submit News page. All information will be reviewed before posting to ensure that it truly serves the solo travel market. An honour system will be used however, visitors to the site will be encouraged to leave comments and inform the publisher of any abuse of the News section.

Solo Traveler is a blog for those who love (or struggle) to travel on their own. Contributing bloggers are located around the world and range in age from 23 to 68. Their style of travel varies from luxury to backpacking. The goal is to share experiences, offer solo travel tips, advice, stories, inspiration, destinations, ponderings and reflections — and to hear and learn from the solo travelers who read the blog.
