Professional Disc Golf Tour Airs Live Via Satellite on TodoCast
San Juan Capistrano, CA, May 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- TodoCast, the affordable portable live satellite web-broadcasting system today announced the Professional Disc Golf Association as a new partner. Through the revolutionary TodoCast lightweight satellite broadcasting kit, the PDGA will be airing their national tour with live via satellite coverage and post produced ninety minute shows on their own TodoCast channel.
“Everybody loves our sport, but television coverage was difficult because production costs were so expensive,” said John Duesler, Director of Marketing for the PDGA. “We think that our new live TodoCast channel will finally bring our 16,000 members, corporate sponsors and 2,000,000 worldwide players what they have been wanting for years.”
The PDGA initially plans to air coverage of their National Tour Point Series. This ten event tour will include live via satellite and post produced ninety minute shows. Each event will be covered using four to six cameras feeding video directly to a forty three foot production trailer with an attached TodoCast satellite transmission dish.
The PDGA is currently opening up these shows for sponsorship to advertisers and will be offering viewers the opportunity to watch them for free with registration. The TodoCast system includes a registration platform that is able to capture direct response and email address information to build powerful database marketing programs. The PDGA and their sponsors can utilize this database to disseminate information and marketing messages to help grow the sport and their respective businesses.
