San Juan Capistrano, CA, May 26, 2009 --(PR.com)-- TodoCast, the affordable portable live satellite web-broadcasting system, has announced the signing of a new affiliate with a specialty in non-profit event production. 5:00 Films, located in the Washington D.C. market, has added the TodoCast technology platform to their services for non-profit agencies allowing them to now expand their reach to their membership and donor base through live events, seminars, conventions, board meetings and fundraising programs.
“We are very excited about the new tools and functionality the TodoCast system brings to our company and our clients,” said Esteban Escobar, 5:00 Films President. “The low-cost mobile satellite broadcast technology, high-end video delivery, interactive chat functions, pay-per-view ability and sponsorship engine give our clients amazing flexibility and production choices as well as providing us with multiple revenue opportunities.”
5:00 Films produced their first event using the TodoCast platform on Tuesday, April 28th for national non-profit Rebuilding Together. Rebuilding Together focuses on preserving affordable homeownership and revitalizing communities through a network of 200 affiliates and more than 1,000,000 volunteers who provide free rehabilitation and critical repairs to the homes of low-income Americans. 5:00 Films deployed production crews to multiple cities simultaneously to capture footage of the annual National Rebuilding Day when the organization mobilized over 200,000 volunteers to renovate over 1,000 homes in one day. This footage was compiled and published as part of a live broadcast report featuring celebrities, politicians and the Rebuilding Together executive team. The report will shared the success stories from the organization’s largest event of the year.
Future 5:00 Films productions include streaming live conventions, seminars and board meetings for other non-profit associations. Due to depressed economic conditions and shrinking travel budgets, many non-profit events are experiencing a decrease in attendance. Through the TodoCast system, 5:00 Films will help these groups reach their constituents by delivering important programs live to the desktop of active members, volunteers and donors.
