BDA Partners with KITIA, an Agency of the Korean Government, to Advise on the International Growth of Korean Companies

BDA signed an MoU with KITIA, the Korea core Industrial Technology Investment Association. BDA and KITIA will work together to identify and execute acquisitions, alliances and investments for Korea's components and materials companies.

Seoul, Korea, South, May 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Business Development Asia LLC (“BDA”) is working with various Korean Government agencies to advise on future acquisitions by Korean components and materials companies around the World. BDA will seek to facilitate and initiate alliances, JVs and investment initiatives to reinforce Korea's leadership position in the global technology industries.

KOTRA, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, hosted the “2009 KOR-US Partnering Week” at the IBM Palisades Center on May 6th-7th to promote and strengthen collaboration in the technology industry.

At that event, BDA signed an MoU with KITIA, the Korea core Industrial Technology Investment Association. BDA and KITIA will work together to further the ambitions of the Korean technology industry. Mr. Yang Woo Park, Executive Vice Chairman of KITIA, and Euan Rellie, Senior Managing Director of BDA, both signed the document, and pledged to work closely together in the future. Senior representatives from the Korean Ministry of Knowledge Economy, MKE, also attended the signing ceremony.

The conference provided multinational company leaders in the US with the opportunity to conduct one-on-one meetings with leaders from emerging Korea-based companies. Experts in various sectors gave an overview of the Korea's high tech markets, and of the components and materials manufacturing environment. BDA met a number of Korean and Western companies at the conference, to discuss business collaboration strategies, including joint R&D, M&A, licensing, tech transfer, and sourcing.

BDA has extensive past experience of working for Governments and quasi-Government clients in the UK, continental Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
