Faith Satellite Radio Contracts Capacity on Intelsat 10 Satellite to Expand Its Programming Throughout Africa

Washington, DC, May 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Faith Satellite Radio, the only faith based satellite radio service covering Africa, and Europe began offering its services to parishes in Africa in June 2007. FSR is now proud to announce the addition of the Intelsat 10 satellite, to its list of preferred network providers.

The Intelsat 10 satellite, located at 68.5 degrees East, delivers high-power satellite coverage from Europe and the Middle East to Africa and Asia. The contracted capacity on the Intelsat 10 satellite offers Faith Satellite Radio the ability to continue expanding its teaching and training needs throughout Africa, as well as supplying over 17,000 African parishes with quality radio programming and multimedia content from around the world as it expands its “Adopt a Parish in Africa” campaign.
