Best known as Kansas City's most visible helicopter pilot and on-air reporter, Johnny Rowlands will Emcee the event at the Falcon Ridge Golf Course in Lenexa, Kansas.
Rowlands has won awards for his coverage and play-by-play of breaking news stories and severe weather events. He also takes his show to area schools, sharing highlights of his weather coverage and giving safety tips to schoolchildren on how to survive severe weather and tornadoes.
"We are very excited to have Johnny emcee this year", exclaimed Greg Smith, Executive Director of the Kelsey Smith Foundation.
