Chicago, IL, August 07, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Jose Rios, board certified plastic surgeon and his wife, Dr. Paula Lapinski, a board certified dermatologist, are opening their newest office of Rios & Lapinski, Plastic Surgery and Dermatologic Institute, located in the Main St. Promenade, 55 S. Taking care of yourself begins with healthy habits and making time for you. It also means paying attention to the things that make you feel better about yourself.
“Studies have shown that enhancing natural beauty results in a heightened sense of self-confidence and a renewed joy in relationships and activities,” said Dr. Jose Rios, a board certified plastic surgeon. “A person’s appearance can have a strong impact on day-to-day life, affecting social, employment, and recreational opportunities as well as self-esteem. We are dedicated to helping our patients understand all their options so they can make informed decisions.”
And that approach is the one Rios and his wife, Dr. Paula Lapinski, a board certified dermatologist, are bringing to the newest office of Rios & Lapinski, Plastic Surgery and Dermatologic Institute, located in the Main St. Promenade, 55 S. Main St., Suite 290.
The couple also practices in Joliet and Frankfort under the name Dermatology and Plastic Surgery Associates, S.C. At all three locations, they offer patients a wide variety of options utilizing dermatologic procedures, aesthetic surgeries and reconstructive approaches. Enhancement procedures include Botox® Cosmetic, laser and chemical peels, soft tissue fillers, breast augmentation, facial rejuvenation, liposuction, and tummy tucks. They also perform reconstructive procedures to help improve noticeable scars, skin conditions or imperfections caused by injury, surgery, disease or birth defect.
Rios is a graduate of Princeton University and the New York University Medical School. He completed residencies, and was board certified in both General and Plastic Surgery at The University of Texas–Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Lapinski provides general dermatology – from teen-aged acne to wrinkle reduction, as well as skin cancer diagnosis and treatment including Mohs surgery. She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Northwestern University School of Medicine. She completed residencies in Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery at The University of Texas–Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
“You’ll know what to expect before, during and after any procedure,” said Rios. “Our goal is to provide each individual with the highest quality care possible.”
