Gail Cavanaugh Publishes Her First e-Book
Gail Cavanaugh has responded to her loyal followers by publishing her first e-Book for retailers from her computer and publishing it on Lulu.com, the online marketplace for digital content.
Portsmouth, RI, May 20, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Ms. Cavanaugh seized the opportunity to write the e-Book during downtime for her business, writing a 35 page e-Book for retailers in three weeks.
Ms. Cavanaugh was moved to write the e-Book after a frequent reader of her Suite 101.com articles commented that the article was short of information for "small business owners to avoid the pitfalls of accepting credit cards."
By including five of the most common topics for discussion on blogs and forums, Ms. Cavanaugh was able to compile information that would be of interest to retailers who have not yet moved their businesses on-line. It covers accepting credit cards, rates and fees, the benefits of accepting credit cards, marketing, and writing tips for blogs and articles.
Ms. Cavanaugh says,"I have had a desire to write a book for several years now, but could not find a compelling reason to write until I became aware of the problems that business owners face while marketing merchant services."
Although the book is entitled The Retailers' Guide to Merchant Services," it is for anyone who is marketing a business online.
Lulu.com: Lulu.com is the premier marketplace for digital content on the Internet, with over 300,000 recently published titles, and more than 4000 new titles added each week, created by people in 80 different countries. Lulu is changing the world of publishing by enabling the creators of books, video, periodical, multimedia, and other content to publish their work themselves with complete editorial and copyright control. With Lulu offices in the U.S., Canada, the UK, and Europe, Lulu customers can reach the globe.
Gail Cavanaugh works out of her home in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Her e-Book can be found at http://www.lulu.com/gelise1.
