Twilite: a Parody - First Published Parody of the Twilight Saga Just Released

Most love stories between an impossibly handsome vampire and an ungainly young woman have a magical beginning, middle and end. This one…does not.

Silver Spring, MD, May 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The first published parody of the Twilight saga by Stephenie Meyer is also Stephen Jenner’s first book. The storyline and the characters portrayed in Twilite – albeit less polished – will be familiar to those loyal to the original series. Twilight’s heartthrob Edward, who has an irrepressible attraction to a seventeen-year-old girl, will never be mistaken for the considerably less sophisticated Edweird. Edweird is a hundred year old vampire trapped in the body of a teenage boy who has yet to finish high school. Nonetheless, Stella – a clumsy but otherwise ordinary girl with a “special” father – is unconditionally smitten with him. Sadly, the lovers’ enemies have sworn to put a tragic end to their forbidden romance. Against all odds, the bond between Edweird and Stella is nearly strong enough for their love to survive.

Twilite: A Parody (Virtualbookworm.com Publishing, ISBN: 978-1-60264-381-9, $12.95, 172 pages) is available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble.com, and Virtualbookworm.com. For excerpts and more, see http://twilightparody.com.
