Experienced Entrepreneur is Now an ActionCOACH in the Northernmost Part of Queensland, Australia
Having owned and operated several successful businesses, Samuel William Harrop will now help other business owners achieve the same level of success in his new role as an ActionCOACH.
Las Vegas, NV, May 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Upon migrating to Australia, Samuel William Harrop joined the ActionCOACH business coaching firm owned by Rob Caughey and Faye Kropp in Queensland.
Based out of Cairns, he will now help small and medium sized businesses succeed through the proven systems established by ActionCOACH founder and CEO Brad Sugars.
“New challenges excite me; I am excited to learn and use practical information from ActionCOACH that can be applied immediately to generate great results – not some ‘pie in the sky’ theory,” he said.
Prior to becoming an ActionCOACH Business Coach, Harrop ran a number of successful small-to-medium sized businesses.
In his previous businesses, he was directly responsible for all aspects of running them, including conflict management, recruitment, building and developing successful teams, long-term planning, financial analysis, implementation of marketing strategies, costing, distribution and staff training.
These responsibilities required Harrop to hone his coaching skills, which resulted in the expansion of his business and accomplishments of other business goals.
When Harrop migrated from South Africa to Australia, he started looking for business opportunities. Having successfully developed several of his own businesses, he made the decision to become an ActionCOACH so he could pass on his extensive knowledge to help other business owners also become successful.
“I already had experience in coaching and I am passionate about business as well as working with people,” he said. “I have a vast knowledge of the tourism industry and also owned a team building and events company which I recently sold.”
Harrop founded Affordable Adventures from ground up to an annual turnover in excess of R9 million with 14 full-time and19 part-time employees.
“I have started many small businesses and have been through the process of trying to make them independent of me while also remaining profitable. Prior to relocating, I was only working a couple of hours a week in the business,” he said. “I also have experience organizing, presenting to and motivating both small and large groups of people, which will be beneficial in my new role as an ActionCOACH.”
A qualified commercial Balloon Pilot with a degree in Business Commerce from the University of South Africa, Harrop also enjoys horse riding, mountain biking and reading. He also coaches horse riding at the local pony club.
ActionCOACH is the world’s number one business coaching and executive coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 26 countries. To learn more, go to actioncoach.com.
