The Inspire Integrity Award is the nation's only student-nominated faculty award that recognizes professors for their commitment to inspiring and instilling integrity in their students.

Dr. Pease, a professor of sociology at the University of Maryland, received a $3,000 stipend; NSCS also donated $2,000 to the John Pease Scholarship Fund.

"We're proud to honor Dr. Pease," said Stephen E. Loflin, NSCS' Executive Director. "He has shown extraordinary commitment to his students and the University of Maryland community at large."
