ISIS/Graham-Patten Sonarae GUI Application Now Available with Grass Valley EDIUS 5.1
Grass Valley, CA, May 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Sonarae’s GUI application will be included as a free bonus item to all purchasers of EDIUS 5.1, the latest version of the Grass Valley™ EDIUS® multi-format/multi-resolution nonlinear editing software package. Owners of the Sonarae Audio Monitoring System and EDIUS 5.1 will be able to control the Sonarae audio processing unit from their desktop. Users can connect the AES/EBU outputs from their appropriate equipped EDIUS system (such as EDIUS SP-SDI or EDIUS HD) to the Sonarae processing unit. Then, after final editing, the Sonarae can be controlled from the desktop for final delay matching and QA.
Len Dole, President of ISIS/Graham-Patten, stated that this level of cooperation will significantly enhance end user access to the already successful Sonarae system.
“Sonarae makes an excellent audio monitoring accessory to the EDIUS line of editing systems,” said Mark Narveson, Grass Valley Director of International Marketing for Desktop and Enterprise Solutions. “EDIUS users can now do their final audio QA pass without worrying about altering the audio mix and effects added during their EDIUS editing session.”
Sonarae can be sourced through the normal ISIS/Graham-Patten US and International distribution channels. The GUI for Sonarae will be added to the bonus materials included with EDIUS 5.1. This will allow end users to assess the functionality of the Sonarae system prior to adding it to their installation.
