Congressman Frank M. Kratovil, Jr. Addressing MSBA’s Military Law Committee’s Annual Award Banquet Honoring First Brigadier General Philip Sherman Award Recipient
The Military Law Committee of the Maryland State Bar Association is honored to have Congressman Frank M. Kratovil, Jr. address attendees at its first annual award banquet on May 26th, 6PM at the Towson Army National Guard Armory 307 Washington Ave. Baltimore, MD 21204. The award recognizes outstanding legal service to military members or their families. This year’s recipient is J. Michael Lawlor, Esq.
Baltimore, MD, May 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The award honors General Sherman, a Brigadier General in the Maryland Defense Force and a retired Colonel in the National Guard, veteran of both World Wars, and renowned community leader. This year’s recipient Mike Lawlor, Esq., is a Lieutenant Colonel and the Deputy Director, Legal Directorate, of the Maryland Defense Force. He has unselfishly provided over 200 hours of direct support to National Guardsmen and their families, saving these individuals thousands of dollars in legal fees. The discussion and awards presentation will be followed by a light reception.
