San Francisco, CA, May 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Marsh, a breeding ground for new performance, is pleased to announce a Marsh Rising workshop performance of Lambeth Sterling’s “Love And Sex In The Spin Cycle.” Sterling’s comedy concerns itself with relationships; dating and marriage; and "The Secret." As her therapist has said, "Nothing is funnier than hearing Lambeth talk about her deepest pain." After thirty-five years of meditation and spiritual seeking, Sterling has emerged with a sense of humor built on an uncommon authenticity and unflinching honesty. Her dry wit is the result of years of plumbing her own depths and the humor is nonstop. This is a show for couples and singles who cannot afford therapy.

Sterling has spent over fifteen years studying with and performing under the direction of the best solo performance directors in the San Francisco Bay Area, including David Ford and Charlie Varon at The Marsh, Ron Campbell at the Berkeley Rep, Nina Wise and Amy Muehler. She has performed ten to twenty minute sets on the subject of relationships for over fifteen years in various Bay Area venues.

Fifty percent of Sterling's proceeds from all performances are contributed to buy LifeStraws for people in Africa and Afghanistan. One LifeStraw can filter water for one person for one year for less than $3.
