Crossroads Church and ThumbPeople Hold Events to Help Individuals “Live an Abundant Life in a Time of Scarcity”

Burnsville, MN, May 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Crossroads Church in Burnsville, MN has a heart to encourage people. A vibrant church exploding with spirit-filled worship, life-impacting messages and a heart for those suffering, Crossroads is expanding its positive impact in the community together with ThumbPeople, Inc.
What at first may seem like a curious partnership, makes perfect sense when you take a look at the core foundation of ThumbPeople. The premise of ThumbPeople is to use life-giving words to encourage individuals to see themselves as uniquely gifted, precious miracles destined to live abundant lives and bless others.
ThumbPeople will launch its newly created “Imprint Ministry” through its partnership with Crossroads Church. The Imprint Ministry includes a three part sermon series, a children’s ministry program called, Thumbuddy Club and a church outreach program.
The sermon series entitled, “Set Apart,” kicks off at Crossroads on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 9:00 and 10:40 a.m. and emphasizes God’s unconditional love and desire to bless us with abundance. The series will continue on June 21 at 9:00 and 10:40 a.m., June 24 at 7:00 p.m. and June 28 at 9:00 and 10:40 a.m. While adults are encouraged with the sermon series, kids will learn that “they ARE Thumbuddy special” in Thumbuddy Club.
Designed by a preschool curriculum expert, Thumbuddy Club consists of story time, crafts, music, activities and take-home bags. Thumbuddy communicates the message to children that just like their thumb leaves a unique, one-of-a-kind thumbprint, they are one-of-a-kind and their life leaves a unique imprint in the world and just as their thumb stands out from their fingers, they were meant to stand out and live outstanding lives.
ThumbPeople has also created a collection of soaking CD’s that encourage individuals with powerful words of love, blessing and healing. Author and ThumbPeople founder, Mark Arens, says “Children and adults are hungry for positive and encouraging words that affirm who God has created them to be.”
