Concord, NH, May 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Build Green NH®, a program of the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of New Hampshire, is pleased to announce the launching of the newest resource for those interested in green building and remodeling in New Hampshire.
The newly opened website, www.buildgreennh.com, has resources for consumers and builders interested in the new National Green Building Standard™ for single-family homes, apartments and condos, residential remodeling and renovations.
Rick Bouchard, Chair of the Build Green NH Council stated, “This site has something for everyone who is interested in building for energy efficiency and for environmental sustainability.”
“The site has sections where consumers will learn about the various aspects of green building including helpful instructional videos. Consumers will be able to locate a Certified Green Professional to work with, and learn about the wide array of financial incentives available from the federal and state governments and utilities” said Bouchard.
He went on to state, “This is the go to program for the residential building and remodeling industry in New Hampshire to obtain the education and tools necessary to compete and prosper in this rapidly developing area of our business.”
“The site has information for the industry on how to prepare their building projects to be certified under the National Green Building Standard™, how to locate a third party verifier to work with, and how to obtain cutting edge education and instruction on this rapidly evolving field”, he said.
