Web Surfing Intruder Arrested After Sonitrol Pacific Detection
Everett, WA, May 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Police arrested an intruder using a computer inside the portable classroom of a Washington high school after Sonitrol Pacific detected a break-in May 22.
Sonitrol Pacific Operator Joe Orsborn received an alarm from the school and dispatched police. When officers arrived, they found a teenage boy on a computer in the portable classroom where the alarms originated and took him into custody.
According to officers, the suspect had gone through a desk and tossed the contents on the floor, but no other damage was done. He told them he was surfing the “internets”.
This event brings the total number arrested this year due to a Sonitrol Pacific detection to 59 and 20 so far in the month of May.
