Zelenko Named President of the Pennsylvania Association of Medical Suppliers

Pittsburgh, PA, May 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Tammy Zelenko, President and CEO of AdvaCare Home Services, was voted to the post of president of the Pennsylvania Association of Medical Suppliers, (PAMS) at the organization’s annual convention in State College, PA. PAMS is the state association representing the interests of home medical equipment, services and rehab providers.

Zelenko, 51, is a 21 year veteran and passionate advocate for the home care industry. She purchased AdvaCare Home Services in 1999 from a seven hospital group where she was originally hired in 1997 to start AdvaCare as a division of their integrated delivery health system. Under Zelenko’s leadership, AdvaCare has grown to one of the state’s leading regional providers of respiratory and sleep apnea services, medical equipment and supplies with 3 locations, Bridgeville, Pittsburgh and Beaver, and two sleep labs. Zelenko was also recently appointed to the Foundation Board of the Beaver Medical Center.
