Walk Tia's Way 5k

Washington, DC, May 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Tia’s Way Announces 5K Walk-a-Thon to benefit Cervical Cancer survivors and fighters.

Tia’s Way, one of the metro area’s leading organizations in the fight against cervical cancer is pleased to announce the launch of the Tia’s Way 5k taking place on September 19, 2009 at Fort Dupont Park. This walk-a-thon was created to benefit cervical cancer survivors and women currently battling cervical cancer.

The 5k is a volunteer driven activity that offers everyone the opportunity to participate in the fight against Cervical Cancer. This event reaches into the community to bring together neighbors, friends, co-workers, and families to raise awareness, celebrate those who have survived Cervical Cancer and to remember those who have not.
