ACT - theact.tv -- to Announce Winners of Essay Contest on May 31, 2009

Phoenix, AZ, May 26, 2009 --(PR.com)-- ACT is a a well-known Phoenix acting program with satellite locations across the country, and the program has been sharing the gift of education in the arts locally by offering free acting instruction for the month of May through the special outreach program, ACT Cares.

In conjunction with this offer, the ACT satellite programs, based mostly in the Eastern US, has conducted an essay contest for current ACT students to also share in the goals of ACT Cares. These satellite students have written essays of 1000 words or less sharing their thoughts on the ACT performing arts program and the difference it has made in their life. Winners of the essay contest will be announced on May 31, 2009 and will have funds donated in their name to national charities, totaling $1500.
