Atrion Networking Corporation Renews Cisco Gold Partner Certification
Atrion is first Cisco Partner in the United States to renew certification via remote audit; renewal makes Atrion the only Gold Partner headquartered in Rhode Island.
Warwick, RI, May 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Atrion Networking Corporation, a leading provider of information technology and managed services, today announced it has successfully renewed its Cisco Gold Partnership certification via Cisco’s new remote audit process. In a greener, more cost-effective approach, Atrion is the first Partner in the United States to become recertified by leveraging Cisco technology to conduct a virtual WebEx audit as opposed to traditional on-site audits. Gold Partnership is the highest level of certification a channel partner can earn. The renewal places Atrion as the only Cisco Gold Partner headquartered in Rhode Island.
Cisco Gold Partnership consists of several rigorous requirements, including staffing at least 16 Cisco certified individuals, with four Cisco Sales Experts (CSE) and four Cisco Certified Internetworking Experts (CCIE). Gold Partners must also be certified by Cisco in four technology areas: Advanced Routing and Switching, Advanced Security, Advanced Unified Communications and Advanced Wireless LAN. Further Certification requirements include a well-rounded Project Management Office (PMO), proficient pre and post sales, design, implementation, quality assurance and support capacities, an effective escalation process, a 24/7/365 client support center and a 4.4 out of 5.0 overall client satisfaction rating.
Atrion exceeds several of these requirements in that it employs 66 Cisco Certified professionals, its PMO is defined by five certified Project Management Professionals (PMP) and its client satisfaction rating at time of audit was 4.8 out of 5.0.
“In maintaining its Cisco Gold Partner certification,” said Tom Kane, channel account manager for Cisco, “Atrion continues to demonstrate the highest level of commitment and excellence in the design, delivery and support of Cisco’s comprehensive solution offerings.”
“Atrion has had a strong relationship with Cisco for over a decade now,” said Tim Hebert, CEO, Atrion. “We are proud to continue to renew and maintain our Cisco Gold Partner certification standards, and we value the best practice insights and growth opportunities afforded to us during the annual recertification process and audit. Our Gold Partnership status continues to play a significant role in providing our clients with the highest level of technology and business solution services available.”
Atrion has been a Cisco Gold Partner since 2005. In 2008, Atrion was awarded the Cisco Partner Summit Regional Award for Security Partner of the Year. Atrion is additionally a Microsoft Gold Partner and an APC-MGE Gold Partner. For more information about Atrion and its solution offerings, visit www.atrion.net.
